NEC Experience: Over the past 5 years I have worked as a Client Advisor / Project Manager with responsibility for a range of projects including public realm schemes, new build and refurbishment works for schools, colleges, museums and conference & events venues.

As a Client Advisor, I have been responsible for promoting the use of NEC contracts for capital construction projects being delivered by various N.Ireland Government Departments, agencies and bodies. I have also developed procurement and contract strategies for projects and managed the appointment of consultants and contractors using the NEC3 Professional Services (PSC) and Engineering and Construction (ECC) Contracts. I have advised clients on the various NEC3 Options and the associated payment mechanisms and risk profiles. I have also been responsible for drafting the conditions of contract including provisions for insurances, guarantees and warranties, sectional completion, bonuses and damages, retention, bonds, liabilities and performance.

As a Project Manager, I have managed technically complex NEC3 Building & Civil Engineering projects from inception through to completion. I have been responsible for the contract management and administration of NEC3 PSC and ECC contracts including commercial management, reporting, risk management, change control and managing the programme.
