Liam Erwin Bsc (Hons) Construction Project Management, ICIOB

Name: Liam Erwin Bsc (Hons) Construction Project Management, ICIOB
Affiliations: (NECReg)
Address: Abbey House, 74 Mosely Street, Manchester,
Post Code: M2 3LW
Current Position: Assistant Project Manager
NEC Experience: I have previously worked on an NEC3 Option C contract, on the redevelopment of a hospital in North Wales. My role on the project was as a Graduate Project Manager working under a number of more senior PM’s. I was involved in the logging, monitoring and management of the Early Warning and Compensation Event processes on the job. This involved processing the documentation between ourselves as the consultant (PM) and the contractor. As my knowledge of the project progressed I became involved in facilitating risk reduction meetings with the contractor.

Part way through my time on this project, I attended an introductory, one day course on the NEC3 form of contract and also attended sessions that were part of my general graduate training.

In September 2016 I attended the NEC Practitioner training course and gained my accreditation in December 2016.

I have also worked on a number of small refurbishment projects that were undertaken on NEC Short Contracts. These included booking office refurbishments for a client based in the Rail Industry.
