NEC Experience: Within the last five years I have only completed the ECC NEC Project Manager Accreditation.  I have not worked on NEC 3 Projects within the last 5 years; however my experience of using NEC 3 goes back to 2006 when I was an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.  My experience of NEC 3 contracts are as follows:  Bradwell Power Station Decommissioning 2011  Forecasting, subcontract account management, applications, month reports, and pricing compensation events.  M62 Junction Tarbuck Island Jcn7  Tasks included submission of monthly ECI Contract Forms, managing LOR and the client risk register, performance monitoring documentation, assisting with the preparation of interim applications to the Client; Cost forecasting for subcontract accounts and preparation of Compensation Events. Preparation of Early Warnings and keeping the register up to date, preparation of subcontract liabilities, Agreement of CE’s, Earned Value Analysis,  and commercial management of subcontractor’s post-contract including payment and settlement of final accounts. (NEC 3 Contract).  Staffordshire Highways framework (Section 278 and 38 works)  Involved in NEC 3 and ICE highway construction projects. Managed own jobs on a framework agreement from starting on site to final account. Majority of tasks were: Carrying out valuations, pricing CEs, VOs, issuing Early Warnings and compiling management account information.  Developed a strong knowledge of civil highway construction, the SMMHW to carry out take offs and on site measurement. He also obtained a good working knowledge of NEC 3 Options B, C, D and ICE 6/7th Edition. Gained extensive experience of managing subcontract procurement using various subcontracts forms, setting up orders and managing their account. He produced commercial reports such as cash flows, management accounts and advised on profitability. Projects include: Road junction remodeling in Darwen (1.2m).
