NEC Experience: I Work on 3 of the main framework contracts in the Onsite Business.
Onsite are the Managing agent for the South Staffordshire Water and Cambridge Water Contract. We have a contractor who provides all o the labour and we act as the project manager between the Contractor and the Employer.
My main responsibilities on the both of these contracts are to review the payment applications being submitted by the contractor and
feeding back any issues that may arise to them. I in turn submit these applications to the employer and deal with any queries they have am
negotiate any discrepancies.
Both the South Staffs water and Cambridge Contract work on NEC3 mainly using Options A and B against a Schedule of rates that were agreed at contract negotiations stage. The labour we provide is used to deliver R&M works, New connections Mainlaying and Rehabilitatio1 schemes along with specialist projects such as the current government works that are taking place on the A14.

On the contract we deliver to Ameys, again we provide the labour but we are responsible for creating the billing and payment applications. On this contract I raise the weekly applications EWN's and Compensation events. Having a close working arrangements with our operations teams I understand what is going on day to day which helps me create all the applications with ease.
I also have regular meetings with our client to resolve site issues and queries in regards to payments.
I also provide the directors with Monthly performance reports on costs and sales which shows how the contract is performing. The Amey contract is based on NEC3 using Options A, B and very recently we have had a few projects that we used Option C.
We deliver Diversions works, Mainlaying works and specialist projects.
I am also responsible for signing off the final accounts and ensuring all the works that have been completed has been signed off. I also will quote specialist projects that Amey may approach us about.

I have completed the NEC3 PM accreditation and some in house commercial courses along with a Microsoft project course. I am also AAT qualified which helps in the financial aspects of my job.
