NEC Experience: I worked for Kier, who was the Principle Contractor on the Essex and Suffolk Water Network Improvement Framework. The contract utilized was an NEC3 ECC Opt B contract. Main responsibilities included measuring and valuing of works, submitting applications for payment, stock control, subcontract management including assessments of works for payment, making payments and assessing CEs. All training received was provided internally within the company.
Following Kier I worked for Fastflow Pipeline Solutions at the commencement of the AMP6 period again being the Principle Contractor on the Essex and Suffolk Water Network Improvement Framework. Contracts used were the NEC3 ECC Opt B & Opt C. Main responsibilities included measuring and valuing of works, submitting applications for payment, subcontract management including assessments of works for payment, making payments and assessing CEs.
I currently work for Essex and Suffolk Water in the Network Improvement Department. Currently administering contracts using NEC ECC Opt C and TSC Opt A. This involves assessing the amount due for payments, assessing CE’s and agreeing Target Costs. Internal training undertaken and external training being the NEC3: Project Managers Accreditation.
