NEC Experience: Lewis has worked with different forms of contracts including NEC3 (ECC and PSC) and Local Authority framework contracts in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.

His skills include liaising with the Client / Contractor / Designer from inception to completion, financial management, resource management, preparation of contract documents, project health and safety risk management and supervising construction works.

Lewis has previously undertaken a Supervisor role on the Northern Inner Distribution Road in Taunton on behalf of Somerset County Council. The project provided a critical transport link from east to west across brown field development and replaced a former rail bridge, converted for highway loading. The project also included significant piling operations in difficult ground conditions to enable construction of retaining structures. A new multi-span composite highway bridge was also constructed over the River Tone and replacement of an existing footbridge over the main line railway (Penzance to London).

Lewis is currently undertaking the Assistant Project Manager role on the St Erth Multi-Modal Hub on behalf of Cornwall Council. He is working closely with both Client and Contractor and is responsible for ensuring the project deliverables for the scheme are achieved in a timely and efficient manner with a key focus on risk reduction and programme management. Contract management using the principles of mutual trust and co-operation are a key emphasis as well as portraying strong leadership and effective communication throughout.

Within this project, Lewis has undertaken significant stakeholder liaison including Highways England, Great Western Railway, Network Rail, Cornwall Council, Local Parish and local residents.
